How would I use a microphone to record in the studio and play live music? - mesa boogie rectifier preamp connecting
I'm an amateur singer, and I'm going into the recording and playing live for the first time. I go through and I'm considering different microphones Shure, Sennheiser and Audio Technica. The problem is that when you choose a microphone, I know I need a preamp and cable to connect the microphone to the front and the team and my amplifier.
Are there any pre-amps used to sing? Or can I change my microphone on a Mesa Boogie Rectifier or any other brand?
Which cable I need, etc.?
I looked around to friends and musicians, taking into account a variety of products, but would rather not learn the technology by trial and error specifications.

get a small mixer, maybe 4 channels, each microphone drive before it reaches a computer. You can add effects, if the mixer to be desired.
receiving microphones with 3-pin XLR.
If you really want a distorted voice should be kept away from the microphone to Voice Connect your guitar to the amplifier.
The amplified voice especially need a microphone pre-amp.
There are tons of taste and price range available. And also an audio mixer is now a decent microphone in front anyway.
Where:
- If you store on your computer, you also need an audio interface. Try with a microphone in front (s get).
- For live performance, it is better to have a powered mixer with Buil-in FX (delay, reverb, dynamics processor, etc.) on board.
